JOB: SALES/TECHNICAL ADMINISTRATOR
LOCATION: BURNLEY, LANCASHIRE, BB11.

Are you a technically capable science or engineering graduate? Or do you have sales administrator experience in a technical environment?

About the role:

The role involves providing high calibre administrative support to the field sales team, to ensure we meet our ambitious goal of 15% orders growth this year.

The role requires the successful candidate to build strong, long-lasting relationships with customer and colleagues, by managing initial customer enquiries, and writing tenders and proposals.

You will also be required to maintain effective handovers to the manufacturing team. Training will be provided.

About You:

Ideally, we are looking for –

: previous experience in a similar role

: technical awareness

What we offer:
  • Salary of up to £28,000 per year (dependent on experience)

About the role:

We are looking for a pro-active, determined, PhD Chemist to develop new sensors and sensor technology to provide exceptional reliability and performance for our customers.

Using our lab, the role will involve generating data from experimentation and trials, evaluating results, and presenting clear, evidence-based insights to enable business growth.

You will provide project management for two other qualified chemists, enable the procurement of materials, create and follow risk assessments, and ensure compliance to our ISO 45001 accreditation.

You will be responsible for monthly progress reports for the board of directors.

About You:

Ideally, we are looking for –

: a chemistry PhD or equivalent qualification

: strong people skills with a desire to progress to management

: industrial experience (preferably two years or more)

: an analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills

: resilience, determination, and a proactive attitude

  • Salary – £35,000 – £40,000 per year (dependent on experience)
